A hospital security brief needs to distinguish public entrances, visitor routes, staff areas and the hours when each area is active. Start with the responsibilities your facility needs a contracted guard team to perform, and identify how that team should coordinate with your existing staff.
Identify reception areas, visitor entry points and access procedures. Discuss where a guard presence is needed and which questions or exceptions should be referred to facility staff.
Specify the posts and shifts you need, including nights or weekends where applicable. Separate recurring coverage from temporary requirements so the proposal reflects the actual assignment.
Include staff and visitor parking, exterior access points and areas shared with other occupants. Explain whether these areas need their own coverage or coordination with interior posts.
